If you are in the Kamata neighborhood, and you feel that sudden yearning for meat, meat, lots of meat Italian style, follow Google's directions to Don Pinocchio, and unless you are a vegan, you will be delighted - no lies! Pinocchio's signature serving is their "Powerful Meat Platter," an outrageous assemblage of grilled beef, pork, and chicken. Easily serves 2 Westerners, or 6 Japanese, and comes on a plank of wood. Their appetizer platter comes in S (3 pieces), M (5 pieces), and XXL (7 pieces). There are Tapas if you want to switch Italian for Spanish, and of course there are pasta & pizza. Drinks by the bottle, glass, or mug. The only drawback is their high-tech ordering that definitely costs stars. Every table comes with its own QR code, you must whip out your smartphone, aim at the code and order via the website it takes you to. Well, we are in Otaku. The app can be a bit fiddly, and while trying to order, my companion let loose a fine assortment of choice Japanese swearwords. The bright side: Us foreigners can run the high-tech online menu through Google translate. Nonetheless, we come here often, and we never were disappointed.

Simple good food, many wines by the glass, not just thebhouse one. The pasta is fresh not dried. Ham ruccula & peperonchino is a must try. Staff is friendly. Also try the escabeche, new item in the menu.
